#TheSEOShow

The SEO Show is the absolute first SEO & Web Marketing international event ever hosted in the middle-south of Italy and first stop of an ideal educational path that will bring the biggest experts in the field on alternative locations, not used to host these kind of events.

For this very reason we chose to start from Naples, a city with so much to offer to the digital industry and whose voice has been muted for too long now.

For two days in September, Castel dell’Ovo will be the stage of the biggest SEO event of the year in Italy, with great names of the international SEO scene who will take turns to create a rich program of speeches and insights.

PROGRAM

The complete program will be updated in coming weeks!

What happens when everybody’s website is fixed?

For many people, a big part of SEO and digital marketing is to solve, improve and continuously optimize performance so to compete at our best. But what happens when all of this is no longer necessary? What happens when everybody’s website, app or software is perfect? This is the question we need to start asking ourselves now, while Google’s involvement with projects like AMP, Schema and WordPress is quietly changing the very nature of the internet: to compete in this new world, we need a radically different way of thinking.

Google, NLP and ML: the impact on the SEO

Search engines are learning about Entities by analyzing videos, photos, audio and news sources, using natural language processing and machine learning and thus relying less and less on human editors.  This translates into the use of semantic labels in image search categories, learning how to find new information about entities using image analysis, or about people in news and movies by analyzing videos. Above all, for us, it means learning to better optimize pages for entities.

Voice Search: the new star of digital marketing

The growth of mobile and vocal research created a paradigm shift in terms of desired UX. Users want accurate answers to specific questions on all devices, and not necessarily links. Search engines become then answer engines. The brands that will successfully find the way to benefit from this type of visibility, even without clicks, will be those who will win in these new forms of SEO. A journey through the evolution of research, passing through BERT, "Zero-Clicks searches" and the search session, in order to get to Voice Search. We will see the best practices of Voice Search optimization, practical examples of strategy and motivations that should drive brands to invest in vocal strategy.

LOCATION

Castel dell'Ovo

The SEO Show’s first stop is a location of excellence: Castel dell’Ovo.

For over 2000 years the castel has been one of the most representative symbols of Naples, embedded on the islet of Megaride, in the beating heart of the city’s gulf. A magical place full of legendary tales: here lies the body of the mermaid Partenope and in one of its crevices can still be found the egg once hid by the poet Virgil, and to which Napoli’s entire fate is closely tied.

A breathtaking and evocative setting as background for our event, which thus becomes both a point of encounter for the whole SEO community and a one-of-a-kind experience.
